Research & Innovation Center

at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center

The Research & Innovation Center is focused on advancing medical research with a specific emphasis on the importance of healthcare equity. The Medical Center supports the participation of representative subjects in clinical trials and data collection projects – studies must include all genders, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds to provide the most comprehensive results.

The Center will help redesign healthcare delivery and therapeutics for the patients we serve. Bergen New Bridge is partnering with industry leaders to innovate integrated care that yields the best health and wellness outcomes.

Our staff will be working to develop ideas that could lead to improvements in care, reductions in overall costs, and will provide new products and services. The mission of the Center is to create solutions that benefit patients at Bergen New Bridge and beyond.

At the heart of a clinical trial is the need to gather research while following strict scientific protocols which protect patients and guarantee solid results. As a participant in a clinical trial, the data provided helps determine which therapeutic approaches work best for certain patients and specific illnesses.

Research @ Bergen New Bridge

Some of the greatest innovations in healthcare have come from the observations of clinicians who are treating patients every day. The Center will be able to take these ideas and create clinical trials or data collection projects to take these observations and turn them into a full hypothesis that can then be tested. The results of this in-house brainstorming will change the face of healthcare delivery at the Medical Center and across the country.

Data Collection Projects

Data is a critical element in the effort to improve population and public health. When we understand the basics about a certain population or a certain illness, we can improve the care we provide. The Center will partner with organizations seeking to improve and expand the data available which in turn will lead to innovations and new developments in products and services provided at the Medical Center.
