Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Hosts Opioid Overdose Awareness Event with the County of Bergen
The Medical Center and Bergen County joined together to remember those lost to overdose
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center together with the County of Bergen hosted an Opioid Overdose Awareness Event to remember the lives lost and the families impacted by opioid overdose in Bergen County and beyond.
“We remember those who have lost their lives, honor their memory, support those they left behind, and strengthen our ongoing efforts to combat opioid addiction,” said Deborah Visconi, President & CEO, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. “By sharing knowledge and advocating for change, we contribute to a collective effort to end this crisis and support recovery.”
“Today we honor the lives lost to overdose and stand with the families and friends grieving their immeasurable loss,” said James Tedesco, Bergen County Executive. “Know that my administration is committed to combating this crisis through critical investments in addiction and mental health resources, and partnerships with experts in care including Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, which provide stigma-free care directly to our residents.”
