Bergen New Bridge is first in NJ to Launch New Prescription Drug Program
Rescription™ aims to dramatically reduce the cost of prescription drugs for the state’s employers and their employees
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and Rescription, Inc., have joined together to pioneer a new employer prescription drug program available for New Jersey employers. At the start of the new year, the Medical Center was the first in the state to launch this new, innovative prescription drug program, which provides self-funded New Jersey employers with the opportunity to dramatically reduce the cost of their prescription drug expenses. The program is the first of its kind in New Jersey and Bergen New Bridge is the first health care provider to implement it.
Rescription™ is experienced in cutting-edge healthcare technology, providing employers with a 100% Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) replacement program.
“Rescription has developed a solution for employers and their employee members to reduce prescription drug costs while providing clarity, simplicity, and improved outcomes,” said Scott Martin, Founder & CEO, Rescription, Inc. “To deliver these exciting benefits, we partner with leading health systems across the country, and we are thrilled to add such an innovative partner as Bergen New Bridge Medical Center.”
“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to provide access to quality and affordable healthcare services to all those we serve including our staff,” said Bergen New Bridge Medical Center President and CEO, Deborah Visconi. “Our partnership with Rescription is another example of how we continue to lead the way as early adopters of forward-thinking solutions that benefit our communities.”
