Research has shown that nicotine use through vaping in adolescents has been directly linked to:

  • Reduced attention span.
  • Development of mood disorders.
  • Higher impulsivity.
  • Poor mood regulation Increased likelihood of smoking cigarettes.
  • Increased risk of misusing drugs.

Teens 12 – 18 from Bergen and surrounding counties. Referrals can be made from all sources.

Mission Statement

We strive to increase awareness of the risks and harms of vaping and nicotine exposure. Our clinicians work collaboratively with the adolescent population to assist teens in honestly weighing the potential costs of vaping.

Additionally, our staff is dedicated to assisting teens in learning skills and tools to identify and resist cravings, peer pressure, and marketing influences. Our approach and environment reduce defensiveness and create an open dialogue to help teens make informed decisions.
