Gian Varbaro, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Ambulatory Services at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. He brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of care provided at the Medical Center.
Dr. Varbaro graduated from NYU School of Medicine, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and earned his MBA from Yale School of Management. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He has been an Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School since January 2018. Additionally, Dr. Varbaro acts as the Chief Medical Advisor to Bergen County, NJ and is the Medical Director for all public health programs. Dr. Varbaro serves the community as a Trustee for the Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative Board.
