Nader A. Mahmood, MD, FCCP, is a highly skilled and respected doctor who helps patients with pulmonary concerns and issues, including pneumonia, sleep apnea, asthma, and pulmonary edema.
Dr. Mahmood strives to use the latest and most relevant technology and evidence-based medicine to ensure each patient gets the care they need. Before delivering any treatment, Dr. Mahmood ensures patients understand and feel comfortable with the treatment plan. Dr. Mahmood earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He earned his medical degree at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. Upon graduation, Dr. Mahmood completed an internal medicine residency and a pulmonary diseases fellowship at St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. He also completed a critical care medicine fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
Dr. Mahmood is an adjunct clinical professor of medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and an assistant professor of medicine at Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in Nutley, New Jersey.
