Kimberly Sue, MD, PhD, is a board-certified addiction medicine physician and Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine, also affiliated with the Yale School of Public Health. She specializes in addiction care and harm reduction at the Medical Center. Dr. Sue earned her MD and PhD in sociocultural anthropology from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her clinical focus includes culturally and trauma-informed care for substance use disorders, with experience at harm reduction centers and Rikers Island. Additionally, she mentors addiction medicine fellows and served as Medical Director of the National Harm Reduction Coalition, promoting better health outcomes for those affected by drug use.
