Ahmed Al-Khazraji, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center (BNBMC) and University Hospital (UH) in Newark, and he is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Al-Khazraji has been in practice for seven years and routinely sees patients with gastrointestinal disorders. He also specializes in the diagnosis of complex liver disorders. He performes general gastrointestinal procedues such esophagastroduodenoscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Al-Khazraji received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Elmhurst) Hospital. Dr. Al-Khazraji also completed two years of advanced hepatology training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Al-Khazraji is an active member of many societies in the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). He is an active clinical researcher and published in many international journals. He also presented his work at national gastrointestinal conferences.
