She completed her fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery at the renowned CV Starr Hand Surgery Center, the oldest hand fellowship in the country. She has also completed a separate sub-specialty fellowship in Pediatric Upper Extremity at the world-renowned Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Carissa Meyer is a board certified, fellowship trained surgeon who excels in the latest advances in both operative and non-operative treatment of upper extremity disorders. A recognized expert in her field, she has authored multiple articles on hand and wrist injuries.
